T-19 throttle linkage broke

I rebuilt the transfer case, and in the process I lowered the transmission by a few inches several times. On one of those cycles I heard a loud "pop" noise, and discovered that I failed to disconnect the clutch linkage and it didn't like flexing that much.
As the attached picture shows, I blew the little plastic socket that seated the ball bolted to the transmission. (I hope that makes sense, I don't know the right names for the parts). Everything looks to be pretty easy to get to. My question is, what do I call the part I need to replace, and where do I get one? (does IH Parts America sell them?) I assume there's another socket at the other end of the tube as well, and I'm planning on replacing both at the same time.

Is there anything specific I should check once I put the linkage back together, other than that everything looks right and the clutch engages/disengages correctly?

IH Parts America is shipping me 4 "bushing halves" to replace the plastic piece I shredded and it's mate. I should have them mid-week.

In this case the price of stupidity seems to be relatively low... And, as usual, the folks here have been friendly and knowledgeable.

Parts arrived yesterday. The bushings come in two pieces, as shown in the attached picture. Installation was simple and successful.
