Suspension Question

I have a '77 Scout II tera, with 47" wagoneer leaf springs (the 44044s without lift) originally I was going to just use the d44 that came with the rig, so this is how I built it:

The problem is that I got a Ford high pinion Dana 60, and since I've installed these leaf springs they have sagged, and I have the Chevy 350 motor, and 700r4 transmission, but I currently haven't installed them on the truck. I also plan on installing a Ford NP205 and blackbox, that I haven't yet acquired. Right now I'm out of town, so I plan on just putting the motor in the motor compartment, and the transmission (with an NP208 attached) in the cab, when I get back there.

The way I see it I've got two possible choices, either I can angle the fangs forward about 1/4" to 1/2". . . Or I can get a boomerang shackle like this:

Any ideas? Am I forgetting another option? Is there something I'm not fully seeing?

:thumbsup:thanks for the help:thumbsup:

One of the advantages of the Ford high pinion Dana 60, is that the spring mount locations are only between 1/4" and 1/2" an inch wider then the Dana 44. Thankfully the spring will fit, but it does add some stress, on the springs. I also realize I might need some spacers and I was thinking about some boomerangs more like these:
