Suspension Help

So I'm in need of a little guidance..I am thinking about getting the Skyjacker 4" suspension for my 74. I need to know if the hydro shocks that come with the kit are legit or should I get the bilsteins your shop carries? I've heard the bilsteins are really good shocks but I've never had them. I will be mostly using as a dd and occassional mud/off roading. Nothing too extreme. Also, what size shackles should I be adding or should I at all? This will be my first time I've worked on my suspension so I apologize for my ignorance. Look forward to your response and any guidance you can throw my way. Semper FI

Seeing that we haven't used the Skyjacker shocks in some time I can't really comment about them. We also haven't sold a set of Skyjacker springs in some time but we can get them for you and basically put a suspension kit together tailored towards your needs that will include the Bilstein shocks, proper shackles, extended brake lines, castor shims, etc. Best to call as one of our salesman will be glad to assist you on part recommendations and pricing.

I put this kit on my 79 and am very happy with it, but mine is used primarily on road and only 4 wheeling is during deer season and in our white winters.
