I need some help trying to understand the highly recommended "starter relay" detailed by mr. Mayben.
I understand the steps as he explains them until I get to the "resistor" wire on the "r" post of my starter - '72 Scout II, manual transmission, 345.
Does the green "r" wire at the solenoid go to the "I" post on my relay. I believe this post is a ground on my relay.
I have already moved the white wire from s post on my solenoid to the left post on my relay which is "hot" when key is on.
Thanks for any help as I try to get it right the first time.
