I was talking to a friend who has a shop that does mostly giant lifts and spring/strut suspension conversions for pick ups for the mudder crowd here and were discussing why the po of my sii would have cut slots into the front spring shackles mounts and he suggested that I do a traction bar instead of the front 'sway bar' after the shackle fix.
Don't think I've ever seen a traction bar on a d44 front on a Scout. Is he nuts? Talked a lot about side to side motion of the axle and I see his point, but what else do you do to spring mounts (front and back for that matter) to keep the lateral movement to a minimum?
