soa vibration

I just finished my SOA on my 78 Scout II. I have a vibration around 25mph to 30. Not sure what it is. I'm looking for suggestions and ideas. Everything is stock still. Has a zlink bar and also no front drive line as of right now

Did ya get affront end alignment? Any resemblance to the so called death wobble? Oem rear drive shaft? Does the rear drive shaft have the double cardan u-joints at one end of the shaft?

It doesn't feel like a death wobble to me. It's the stock rear driveline and it is a single cardan u joint. And it has not been to the alignment shop yet

I kinda thought so. I been there done that. An alignment will help. I made my own steering linkage and I was able to adjust it enough to get rid of the death wobble till I was able to get an actual alignment.
Do ya still have the oem(stock) tie rod and drag link? No adjustments can be done on the stock tie rod itself and lack the replaceable rod ends. The stock drag link does have adjustments and replaceable rod ends.

With the oem rear drive shaft and the steeper angle it now sees May, or May not, cause some vibration. But not like the death wobble.

Tighten everything up once more -- get it aligned -- check the rear driveshaft angle to see if it is too steep/bad/poor/etc.

Did you get the rear driveshaft back together in the correct 'phase' (or did you take the driveshaft apart at the slip joint and put it back together?)

then just start doing regular maintenance things, ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, driveshaft ujoints, etc....

Good luck!
