SOA C&T quickie question.

79 traveler, Dana 44, Dana 20, 4 speed, 345, SOA w/ reverse shackle is what I have now im lookin to fix the caster. Where do I put the angle finder? Spring perch at 0* then top of the "c" @ 5*? Top of "c" goes to back of truck right? I know ive seen a diy or pics of ihon doing this somewhere but I just can not seem to locate where I have seen this! Please help...
 
I just did a search on this site with the word caster, and came up with over 3 pages of threads. There's even a few threads with pictures.

Search is your friend.
 
But the spring perch were in needs to be (who cares about the angle) then beat the "c"'s back till you get the caster you want as measured on some sort of flat surface on them.

You need to measure from the flat spots on the inner 'c' where the balljoints go. The goal is to be measuring the 'line' drawn straight through the ball joints thast the steering knuckle will pivot on....
