Slant 4-196 IH engine

I'm looking for a rebuilt or rebuildable engine
Hello,
We have a complete 196 here in the shop that was running when pulled two months ago.
It's out of a 1970 Scout 800 2wd.
This engine is complete from air cleaner to oil pan and still has the transmission (T-90) bolted to it.
The customer was driving the Scout up to the time we pulled it, in my opinion it's ready to be rebuilt or at least resealed though.
Asking $3k for the assembly.

Will it slip into the transmission of a 61 Scout with 4x4? it currently has a slant 4-152 that has no meat left in the block to rebuild.
And where is the engine located?

Yes, it will bolt in your Scout 80.
I'd consider $2750 without the transmission.
It's located here at IH Parts America, in Grass Valley CA.
We can crate and ship if needed at additional cost.
