Shock Question

I have the Rough Country 4" lift and the nitro shocks. The ride is pretty bouncy, probably from the nitro shocks. I'm guessing putting on the nitro shocks with such a stiff suspension was a bad idea.
The question is since I mostly drive in town with moderate offroading, would the Rough Country hydro 8000's soften the ride considerably?

The nitro's are supposed to be a slightly better shock than the hydro's but I think the ride quality you are experiencing are due to the stiffer 4" springs. They will smooth out over time. One shock option we recommend are bilsteins. They are pricey at $84 each but offer a much better ride than either of the Rough Country shocks.
