Service Manual.

I am going to ask this question in here. I would consider a service manual a tool.

I have came across what I believe is a factory service manual for a Scout 80. It was free so I grabbed it up. I was wondering other than this manual is there any other literature out there that I would need if I come across it.

The literature number is cts-2302. I have a few pics of it. Its in really good shape. I can't find a copyright date on it but it looks pretty old. I would say at least 20 years.

Here is just a few chapters in here. There is a total of 21 chapters in here.

Also on a side note; if I post to many photos just let me know. I find it is easier to post photo of something rather than someone to understand my southern dialect.

Ya can't post too many pics josh! Pics tell the story much better than words most of the time!

Great score on an original cts-2302. And it also has the section covering the delco distributor! Some versions do not! Just so happens you took a pic of the header for that section!

A parts catalog for Scout 80/800 (61>68) is available as a reprint. I use that alot in my work with the 80/800 stuff but mostly now for working with other folks to supply part number variations as these rigs evolved over time.

I certainly consider any technical literature to be just as important a tool as any wrench or hammer!

Super score there josh!!
I paid $75 for my reprint. It was worth every penny using the electrical schematics to wade through the multitude of electrical problems the rig came with.
