Serial numbers

So I have a scout 800a, not sure on the year and the original owner before repainted the engine bay and removed the serial number plate and the serial number stamped on the frame only shows two characters. Is there any other way to figure out how to get my scout registered cause I’m kinda screwed since they lost the title too. Any help would be much appreciated

If you don't have the VIN plate, then you will have to try harder to see those frame numbers. From the frame numbers we would be able to order you a build sheet and determine the year of your Scout.
