Scout lift

I am working on a Scout half cab that will be primarily used on the street with occasional mild off road use. I am most interested in it handling well. I would like to run 33 x 12.50s and would like to know the best way to lift it for this purpose.
Thanks

The most functional lift would be a full "spring-over" using the "reverse" shackle system, with the front axle outers twisted to provide correct wheel alignment after the pinion angle was set for best front driveline operation.

Tons of info on how to perform various lifts on these rigs and the pitfalls to be encountered in the threads in this forum. Do some research and you will see the trials and tribulations associated with the subject of "lift"!

The simplest solution for a primary street ride would be a nominal spring lift and keep it spring-under, and add a maximum 1" body lift to minimize body lift trickledown.
