Scout II transmission mount install

So I recently bought a polyurethane tranny mount from IHPA and I am trying to figure out how it goes in. I am under the impression that the mount is supposed to sandwich the crossmember, but the holes in the cross member are too small to fit the metal sleeves through. Am I supposed to drill the holes in the crossmember bigger or am I doing something wrong?

I assume you are talking about a Scout II? If it is, and pre-75, then yes you will need to drill the holes larger in the crossmember.
