Scout at Oakland Pick and Pull

Hello all,

I just visited a Scout at the oakland pick and pull thanks to the heads up from Scout enthusiast david.

If you are curious as to what is there, I looked the truck over and can try to respond. All drive line, axles and engine intact. The truck looks a lot like my 79 but I'm not sure of the year. Fairly rust free but most panels have some dents. Front driver fender in pretty straight shape. Windshield frame looks pretty good but did not study it closely. Rear drive shaft May be non-original, looked a little beefier than my stock. All glass intact. Thermoquad on motor. Ac compressor and system present. Power steering gear gone. I took the tie rod, looked beefier than stock. Drag link is stock.

Went up and picked a few things off it. If anyone is interested the rear is a d44 factory posi with 354s. Most likely a track lock, think that's what all the "newer" ones had in them. Has all the factory stickers on the glove box, and I spun the rears to verify. Finally have interior lights in my 75. I know, most people take things like that for granted, but they are nice to have on occasion (till you kill the battery by leaving a door open).

Hey guys, new to the site. Does anyone know if the Scout is still there? Have a lot of parts I need to get to get my 77 traveller up and going.

Thanks for getting back to me hondo. I have some friends in oakdale I can have run by tomorrow and see if there are any usable parts left.
