Scout 800 window adjuster

I have a 68' Scout 800 that I've been refurbishing.
While working on the doors I noticed an adjuster front perimeter of each door.
I've looked through the manual that I have and it appears to be a "window adjuster"
Unfortunately the manual doesn't say what they adjust on the windows or how to adjust them.:mad2:
Does anyone know how these work and how to adjust them?

I don't recall exactly what the mechanism looks like. Could you post a photo of the adjuster and where it is in the door?

See attachments for PIC's. this is on the front edge of the door between the hinges.

This is the manual that I have and it talks about the removal of window and what to do during removal. It has nothing about what the adjusters function is or how it should be adjusted. Any idea what and how it should be adjusted?

Paragraph four is all the explanation I see about it and seems simple enough. Adjust screw until the window doesn't bind when winding window up and down.
