Scout 800 metal

Trying to save my 66 body from being eaten alive and I'm looking for a pair of inner fender sections and door jambs to replace some rusted sections. Here's a photo of what I'm looking for. I also need the area where the hood bolts to the windshield frame- but that May be a later job...

Those are gonna be hard to find. I was looking for door jambs for a while and never even got a bite. I ended up making those parts (kick panel, inner fender, rocker panel) and repairing my door jambs cause I couldn't find them.

my 67 800 - page 2 - binder bench

If you're handy with a jig saw and some body hammers (access to a box/pan brake helps too) they aren't to bad to do. I think it took about 8 total hours to make my panels and this is the first major sheetmetal work I have done.

Try contacting IH Parts America or maybe backcounty binders, they May have something they are parting out. Rust is very common in the area you show so I know that good pieces go fast.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I think I am on the verge of fabricating these. I have an 80 I could cut from but it might be easier just to use new metal. Ill post some pics when I get into it.

There's one in wrecking yard near me. Body looked fairy solid in areas where you're in need of. But I didn't take off the fender, so I'm not sure if it's rotted out or not

at least it was all intact the last time I saw it a couple months ago. I May have pics of it on my phone is ya need me to post them

It's located here in richmond, cali. Well I thought I still had pics on my phone but May have transfered them to my pc. I'll check tonight.

**edit**
I'll try to find the pics maybe tomorrow, time permitting. Just got home and I'm almost too tired to change to go to sleep
