Scout 800 Master Cylinder pushrod question (picture warning!)

Hey guys,
as per the pictures below, I have the square style master cylinder with the bolt on cover. I just bought a replacement from IHOnly, however, it uses a different pushrod, with much deeper piston.
Jeff hadn't run across this issue before, and suggested I post a question for what others have done.

If you have done this conversion, what did you do for a brake pedal push rod? It appears to need to be about 1" longer with a different retainer flange for the deeper piston.
Thanks for the help.

Scratch this question. The master cylinder is a standard 1" bore. Not the step bore direct replacement I was told by michael. So I'll be working with Jeff to return this part.
Hopefully he will update their notes so this same mistake doesn't happen to others.
