Scout 80 Remnants...

I have some parts left of a Scout 80:

sport top - ok condition
frame + rear axle + springs
hacked up tub (rear quarters cut out)
(front fenders, hood, grille, front axle gone)
theres a steering column
4cyl radiator
fold down windshield
not much else...

Hows the front portion of the passenger side rear inner fender near the bulkhead? Does it have the "tool bin" door?

I don't need a whole column, but what kind of shape is the steering wheel in? I am interested if it's in fairly decent shape.

Hi Darren,

the parts manuals indicate the early Scout 800s and 80s had had the same components for the horn button assys and contacts.

Do you have the horn button parts in the parts manual description figure 05-003?

Starting from the top when taking parts off, they are, horn button emblem, horn button, horn button contact cup, horn button base plate, one screw, 8-15 x 101/2, and two screws, 10-12 x 1/2, and the horn button spring,

I don't need the nut holding the steering wheel in place (or steering wheel), but might need the horn button contact ring and the horn cable roller contact, which lay underneath.

If you have those, how much do you want for them?

Nope, no horn button, if it isn't in the pics above, I don't have it as far as 80/800 parts go...
Most of my parts are for Scout II's, & 60's/ 70's trucks/ t-alls
