scout 80 parking brake install

I have a '63 Scout 80 152, when I got the truck all it had in it as far as parking brakes was the handle I have now purchased all the necessary parts and I am wondering if somebody could throw up some pictures of the underside of the truck with the parking brake installed (routing, where the two cables connect and how, where the lever between the two cables mount).
Also I purchased all the parts from barnes IH and the parts guy said that the parking brake uses a separate cross member that mounts to my frame and he sent me one but I can not find any evidence of tabs on my frame rails to mount it, however there is a little bracket off of the transmission crossmember is that where the lever mounts? Or do I need to weld some tabs in for the cross member? I will post some pics here so maybe people can tell what I am talking about.

See that u shaped bracket? I think that is your stationary point but were it attaches to is the question. I know it is not to the frame, I just pulled the brake cable for a guy but this was a stripped body vehicle. My Scout does not utilize a parking brake.
 
I have photos that I can't get to at the moment. I will post them when I can. Probably later tomorrow.
The lever you have in the forst photo looks odd to me.
 
Luckily I just rebuilt my t-case, so I had the tranny cover off. This is how my e-brake is set up. Looks like maybe you're missing the long threaded rod??

Sorry was unable to get online for a while, thank you for all the pictures I should be able to piece it together using these.

great pic showing the cable and equalizer. Nice to finally see one of those (equalizer - 1/2 moon) on something other than an old service manual.

Are you aware of other year/models that use the equalizer? That's the part I'm missing out on and I can't seem to figure out another setup for the parking brake.
