Due to the ridiculous shipping costs. This stuff is for sale semi locally.

I make a trip to hermiston, or once a month or so I can deliver to that area.

Roll bar is back on the market and mr.ggo is getting a refund.

Sorry about the hassle.

Let me check what shipping would cost. It might be cheaper to just pull one out of the junk yard as that style of ps pump was used on damn near everything.

You don't still have the roll bar do you? If so what was the outrageous shipping price? And or when do you come to oregon?
Thanks rick

I have the roll bar mounted in my Scout now, but it is coming out for a cage here shortly. I dont make it to southern oregon much anymore. I am in hermiston / pendleton area every couple of months though.

I tried to ship it to one of the posters above but it cost more than the roll bar itself, I think it was something like 150 bucks or something just because of how big it is.

The mounting holes are quite a bit differen in my 73, than the 78 that I got it out of. So either it wasnt a stock roll bar, or the mounting holes etc changed from 73-78. It is also pretty short, there is quite a gap between the roll bar and the top. I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to be or what.

Here is the roll bar mounted in my Scout

Your rig looks very similar to mine, I am sure I could get the mounting situation to make sense one way or another, I make it to portland a lot but never out toward hermiston, having a really hard time finding a bar anywhere near me and last I checked to have one built was 400$ since I don't have the means to put it together myself. With that said shipping it still comes in 200 less then I have found so far.. I dont know what I am going to do, but I sure as hell know I need that sucker on there, if you knew someone coming to portland I would be very interested in the bar..
Here is a pic of my Scout think its a 75

Another thing I will caution is: if you are somewhat tall at all (around 6 feet or so) that bar is kind of short and poses the potential back of the grape to roll bar collision.

If you arent tall, then this would work very well.

If I hear of anyone making their way to portland any time soon I will let you know.

Is your bumper and roll bar still available. I just purchased my first Scout, a 78 and am excited to add to it. It is 99% original and in incredible shape except for the typical rust and wear on 1978 parts. I am looking for another bumper as mine was torn off by previous owner. I live in the ogden, ut area and would make the trip north if they are available. Thanks
