I got my dash and guage kit yesterday and it looks awesome.

I had a question though:

will I need to buy connectors? And if so what connectors would I need?

I am gutting the stock wiring and using a complete wiring harness and column I pulled out of an 86 Chevy pickup.

Thanks for your help guys!

For a basic job mostly butt connectors and eyelets will be needed. Really I would ditch the used Chevy harness in favor of one of our kwikwire kits as I think it will be less hassle for you with a better end product. As for the column what wrong with the one you have now? You already have a GM steering column from the factory.

It is not tilt.

Curtis at bucks suggested snagging the harness and column out of a GM pickup that was still carbeurated so all the controls could be moved to the steering column and to have a tilt wheel. I know the steering has quite a bit of play in it even after the partsmike histeer kit, psc steering box and such.

I was able to get the column and harness for a lot cheaper than I could a kwikwire or painless kit. He also said since I was running full Chevy running gear it would not be that big of a deal to reinstall everything. The column was mostly to make wiring the controls easier.
