Hey guys, hey I'm in need of a good Holley 2210 to test on my Scout, I just need to borrow it to see if it the carb I'm having issues with or if its something else. You're more than welcome to come over and help (I always have cold beer) or I can pick it up, I work in santa clara.
Thanks guys,
nathan

I have an excellent running 2210 I'd like to sell. Tell us what the issues are perhaps we can help.

State of jefferson!! Hahahaha I'm wearing a soj hat right now. How much u asking for it? I May buy it. Anyways, the drivers side is running super Rich, I've done compression test, double checked timing, anything else I can think of. I have a thread going over at the other binder forum. Someone suggested trying a known good carb. Its a 78 sii with 345, Holley 2210, timing is at 12-13° btdc. Compression is at 130-140 all the way around

So I found part of the problem but its still not running right. No one has a good running 2210 laying around I could borrow?

There's another member on here that is also in santa cruz. Goes by vancetator. He has several 80's and 800's model scouts. Haven't seen him post up much lately. Might sending off a pm to him and see of he can help.

Ya he's actually the one I got the Scout from, I traded him my 62 80 for his 78 ralley. He rebuilt the carb but I think it needs a real rebuild. He's been mia for a while now. And after finding out later that he beat the piss out of it, I'd rather not have him work on it
