I am looking at buying new, lifted springs are the Rough Country springs going to give me the 4" lift that I am looking for and flex or schould I go for the Skyjacker considering the price difference ie double.

Really depends what you are after overall so hard for me to make a decision on this for you as opinions vary. I will say yes the 4" rc springs will lift you up at least 4" but they are stiffer compared to Skyjacker. Skyjackers I only recommend when towing and/or cargo load isn't a variable. If you plan on wheeling, towing or carry a heavy load of cargo all the time it won't take long for the rear Skyjacker springs to sag. I usually recommend to our customers that they buy the Rough Country 2.5" springs as they are a decent spring that ride pretty nice and give nearly 3" of lift without sacrificing load carrying ability. I also always recommend extended shackles or our reverse shackle kit as both will give your Scout about an extra inch of lift and improve on the ride quality.

Thanks Jeff for your quick reply much apprecated.
So is it possible to get a shipping price to queensland australia for Rough Country 4" springs hydro shocks, a set of your used 3.54 gears front & rear and one lsd for rear of 79 Scout parts & shipping
thanks

Will need your postal code as well. Also what type of limited-slip differential did you want? We stock powr-loks and Auburn gears but can get other brands too.
