I've been thinking about what to use as headliner material for my s80 roof. It is not a conventional top, so all pre-made tops won't fit at all with it.
I stumbled across this page on a rover top. headliner and sunroof
Which looks about perfect for my needs. Has anyone done a headliner similar to this one? Obviously the glue selection is of utmost importance. 3m 77 spray adhesive is what I was thinking. 1" closed cell foam should also help significantly with noise reduction and insulation (heat in the summer and cold in the winter).
Am I barking up the wrong tree? A flat plywood or particle board headliner won't work with the setup I have. It has to be able to curve exactly like the rover roof (without the windows in the top).
