Removing lockomatic hubs to replace rotors?

I'm trying to replace the rotors on my 1980 terra Dana 44. It has the lockomatic hubs, and I can't figure out how to remove the hubs. I've made it past the outer snap ring and removing outer hub, but now I'm stumped. I want to replace the wheel bearings too. This hub looks different than any other I've worked on. Any advice?

So you have both parts of the locking hub off? Lets see... I'm sure you got the 6 bolts holding the outter hub on. Then remove the outter hub. There should be a snap ring on end of the axle shaft, remove, and slide off the inner hub part. You should be able to see the the nuts that hold the rotor/hub on now.

I have the snap ring off, and the inner hub. But that's where I run into problems. It doesn't seem to be a regular shaped nut. Is there a special tool I need to spin this off? Here's a pic of where I'm at.

That's the jam nut. There are set screws in some of those little holes. I can see one in the upper right. I think there are 2 set screws. But check them. After that you can use a chisel or small punch and a hammer to turn the ring. You can see some of the holes are messed up from the last time it was apart.

The three setscrews in those round locknuts take a tiny sized hex/allen wrench-key. Two of those holes have no setscrews; they are for a pin spanner.

Do yourself a favor: try to get a proper pin spanner to remove those round locknuts. Using a punch or chisel and hammer just messes up those rare locknuts.

I use a bicycle bottom bracket pin spanner. Try to locate a park tools green handled pin spanner at a local bike shop. It works quite well.

I also hope you have a 2 1/16" socket for the inner locknut...

Great information, thanks a ton guys. I'll be calling some bike shops this morning looking for that pin spanner, anything to make life easier.
