removal of in-car air conditioning ('black box')

Hi

I have just ordered a new carpet set for my Scout II but need to remove the innerts from the ac system; it's the big black box which hangs under my dash at the passenger footwell, can't see where it is attached to or what screws to loosen, help needed!

There should be four nuts on the outside, behind the pass. Tire. The box has 4 studs. The nuts are probably covered in mud and and undercoating

Do I need to remove the right wing to get to these or can the be unscrewed with the wing in place?

It bolts to the firewall and inner fender the box has studs and the nuts are either in the wheel well or engine compartment

Pardon my french, I guess the more correct term is 'fender' I think.
