Recurve or Replace

Bck to my new '72. I've been talking to a shop about twisting my yokes and I went and took some pictures to show them. Well, I knew the SOA was not top notch but now I think that I might just redo the perches.

I also noticed that the springs are pretty tired looking, the shackles are pointing out like the springs are compressed. There's a really good spring shop here on long island that will re curve them old school, un temper in a furnace, re shape and then re temper.

There's also the option of buying a set of rancho springs. Are these compatible with a SOA? I notice in the buildups that stock springs are always used.

Sorry pics in a while, got to trim file size.

Harry

Yup, that needs more than a little help! Does it even go in a straight line down the road? Rearch the springs, then get rid of all them blocks and castor shims! Do a c&t and be done.

Looks like a white knuckle driver. You really need to do a c&t on those axles. After that you could see how it sits, shackle angle doesn't look bad to me, I'd use those springs as is.

Did you have to replace the driveline? I did a 4" leaf under and there is a llittle vibration
