Recommended Lift Kit 1977 Scout II

New to the forum , and new to the Scout scene ! I recently purchased a 1977 Scout II a/t 304 engine . This vehicle is gonna be a daily driver ( very seldom off road ) but definatly want to add a lift kit . From what I have seen in the forums so far , looks like a 2.5 inch SUA kit will serve my needs . Will I have to change or convert anything if I go with this kit ? Longer brake lines , etc ? Thanks ahead for any response !!

I have a 1980 traveler with a r/c 2.5" lift, 5" shackles, and 4 degree shims (all sold here). I haven't gotten around to checking the caster angle, but it drives ok. The angle on the front driveshaft is a little more than I'd like but nothing binds even with the suspension at full droop. If you stick to 3" (stock) shackles, I doubt the driveshaft angle would be the least bit bothersome.

I was not impressed with the u-bolts that came with the r/c kit. I went to a local spring shop and had a new set bent. I think Jeff sells them too. The r/c washers and bolts were not as massive as the ones I pulled off the old u-bolts.
