Hi there im at a point with my 79 Scout where I feel the need to rebuild it.
Cylinder pressure is 125psi od in all cylinders.
Getting a fair amount of blowback from rocker cover breather.
Have considered ls1 but would prefer to keep the original donk.
My question is ; when rebuilding this engine what would be the desired mods to give it a bit better performance?
It is currently running 3.73 gears 35"tyres 727 box Dana 20 t case.
