Reasonable time to install brakes

What would a reasonable time in hours be for installing disk brake kits (four wheels) on a 72 Scout II (Dana 30 front / Dana 44 rear).

Add in a new booster and master cylinder too.

I am trying to get a feel for how much this would cost to have a shop do it.

Thanks

There are too many factors involved.

1. How good are the "kits" are they bolt on? Or weld on?
2. How much equipment does the installer have?
3. How experienced is the installer?
4. Are you sure you have all the correct parts?

Your best bet is to call around and ask the different shops that you are considering.

Got the Scout back last night, was happy that it was 21 hours of work.

The "kit" I bought was not that good, wrong / missing / bad parts that my shop had to replace / buy. So the money I thought I was saving actually was not saved........should of bought IH onlys kit (live and learn).

And once again, thanks Jeff for helping my shop out even though you did not have to. They are impressed with you!!!

But now I have to remember not to stand on the brakes, almost launched myself out of the truck taking it home....lol
