Not quite sure where to post this.....so chit chat it goes.

After an episode of extreme 4x4 on rc crawling, I got to thinking about rc's and found this super cool rc Scout rock crawler.

Looks an awful lot like my Scout, maybe that why I like it so much.:icon_cool:

More pics of the crawler.
rccrawler.com- your #1 source for radio controlled rockcrawling!

Im thinking one of those bodies with these would be amazing.

Stupid waste of money or a super cool cheaper than the real thing hobby? What do you guys think?

I gotta have one of these!!! Looks like at least three s.s. Checks will cover it!

Jeff and his kids play with this stuff too...maybe we need to crank out an rc sub-forum??? Is there any other interest here???

I have several nitro powered rc vehicles. I just haven't had enough extra cash laying around to buy the axial scorpion rock crawler, scouts take priority.:ihih:

that body has been out for a few years now. I have been waiting for a Scout II body to put on my revo.

The baby Scout body is awesome when you put it on this:

I believe hos on pirate is running the same setup I just suggested.

Yeah, those are the rigs these are made to go on, sweet little units. Theyve had the full top version out for a while, but the topless with option for the cage, I beleive, is farilly new.

I really like the flat tan, for some reason.....

Hello all,
those axial crawlers are awesome. I have the exact one stated earlier. Just a little info about the bodies, the hardtop versions were made by proline and they are discontinued. They are hella hard to find. Maybe u can find one on ebay. The convertable Scout body is still being made though. I wish my real Scout had as much articuation as my toy Scout. Haha

I have an axial crawler, I looked into getting one of the Scout bodies for it but they are pricey. The body and cage are sold sepeatly. If I remeber correctly it would be about 100 bucks for the body and cage.

Yep, I just went and looked online. It is the ambush body from pro-line. They are much cheaper now then a year or so ago when the body first came out. Now I am half tempted to get one for my crawler.

If had some extra cash I would buy a crawler with the Scout body on it. I do own one of these - 10620 And a real old tamiya lunchbox. If there's enough of us playing with these things I'm game for its own forum.
