The gulp valve was only used on the 1980 Scout II with the four cylinder. If you still need to smog your 1980 Scout four-banger, then you should grab this for a spare. Also good enough for a restoration, I suppose. Took me two years to find this when I still smogged in California and the referee wouldn't give me an exemption. Found this item as NOS, so I only had it on long enough for each bi-annual cycle, removing it and placing it back in a sealed baggie. $50 plus the ride.
