radio wiring

Just installed a new kenwood stereo in my 77 sii. Everything is fine except that I have two wires that apparently are needed.
I get the black for ground and the speaker wires, but one is red that is labeled "ignition wire" and the other is yellow that is labeled "battery wire".
I only have the one wire coming from the fuse block for the original "radio". Could use some guidance on exactly where the red and yellow would go. Does the red go to the old radio wire? If so, where does the yellow wire go? Do I connect to the "hot" battery wire coming to the fuse block?

Thanks all.

Hope this helps. The red "ignition" wire needs to go to a switched 12v source - the old radio wire should work. Put a volt meter on it and make sure it comes on when the ignition switch is in the on and accessory positions. The yellow wire goes to unswitched 12v (always on) to keep your clock and presets working.
