Quadrajet jets and rods

I have a quadrajet to replace the leaking, bogging thermoquad that is on the 345 and need to know what rods and jets to use. Before I took the qjet off it had #73 jets and #48 rods and still seemed a little Rich. I took the qjet apart so much to change the jets and rods that I needed to change the gasket twice, then I got the thermoquad and quit the experiment with the qjet. I know it is a guessing game and every truck is different, but a starting point for a 345 with qjet would be helpful.

thanks mr. Mayben for all your help, if I wasn't so stubborn I would just give up on these carbs and get f.I., I just like to work on things without a computer.
