Putting A/C in an old 'binder

So I have a 1965 3/4-ton 4x4 Travelall with the sv304 and 4-speed.

It pulls our travel trailer with little fuss or muss (most of the time anyway!).

My wife is not really thrilled with going places in the t-all. The lack of modern amenities is high on her dislike list.

In a conversation lately I asked if she would like the t-all better if it had a/c.

Her response was get the heat turned off first and then get some a/c and she would be much happier.

So my question is what do I need to do to get a/c in my t-all?

I am thinking that most of the underdash units will keep the front seat cool but won't do much for the back seat.

I know that installing some insulation in the headliner, on the floor, and on the firewall will help the a/c to work better.

Tinting the windows and sealing up all of the extra drainholes will help the a/c do a better job as well.

From what I have read, purchasing the compressor bracket from ihonlynorth is the smart thing to do. But I don't know enough about a/c systems to know which compressor I should get, what size and type of condensor to get, and what sort of evaporator(s) I should get.

Your input is appreciated.
