Push start install

Hello all, noob here. I am about to install a push start on my 75 Scout II. I just brought it back to life with the help of a replacement distributor. I am curious where to hook the wires up? + side of ignition coil and the starter solenoid? Any specific gauge? Any advise would help. Thanks

The issue is the stock wires going to the starter solenoid are too small or bad connections.
So when you turn the key, the solenoid is not getting enough juice. If you do a bit of a search there are 2 ways to resolve the issue. 1: install a Ford starter solenoid. 2: install a starter button.

To install a starter button and the wires connect to the terminal on the starter solenoid and the positive on the starter.

Thanks for the advice Craig. I went with option 2, and installed a push start. She fired right up. I think I May have missed a step somewhere along the way though because it will start without the key. I thought that I would have to have the key in the "on" position. Anyways I was stoked with the install. Im trying to bring the Scout back to life.
