push rod length

Ok!

I just discovered another anomaly in this timing gear shit! But I gotta git the gears and cam outta that early 152 and verify the p/n's.

I'm thinkin' we need a new, separate thread just for the timing gear issue so we don't keep pollutin' Jesse's push rod/engine build deal here, that makes it much easier to work with in future searches. I'm the worst for going off topic with needless bullshit!

Michael,
I was thinking the same thing while went to get lunch.
Maybe we can move the posts to a new thread on timing set differences. Even a rockerarm one.

Christ! All I wanted to know was the push rod length, and that was answered about 20 posts ago.

Robert, did you get these backwards?

just look at lobe lift numbers. Stock iirc is .224 intake and .254 exhaust. Example below in red high light shows considerably more lobe lift but using 1.6 rr. Good cam!!

If we use the rocker ratios you stated (1.76 and 1.7), it would be 0.224 exhaust and 0.254 intake, no? Or?

Thanks,
