In the next month or two I'm going to be pulling my 72' Scout II 304/t-18 wide ratio/Dana 20 in favor of a cummins 4btaa/nv 4500/Dana 300 and was wondering if $1200 for the whole lot seemed too steep? The 304 has 70k original miles and runs great with minor leaks (I'll know more when I pull it). I believe the t-18 is a wide ratio because 1st gear is worthless around town (10 mph then shift). The Dana 20 has a very minor leak at the rear output and all of it has never been abused by me. Talking with the po when I bought it in 05' it seemed that his father (the first owner) who he inherited it from took very good care of it and claimed it still has the original clutch in it. I have the original window/build sheet and owners manual which leads me to believe his story. Thanks.
