I need part numbers for the points, condenser, coil, ballast resistor and plugs for a v-392 that has a prestolite-IH 427 967 c91. (1977 school bus) my local auto parts stores are clueless!
 
There are pictures in the parts section of this web site of the prestolite points, rotor and cap. Compare those pictures with what you have to confirm if they are correct. You could order off this web site, or you can use these napa numbers for cross reference, I think these are correct numbers, but compare pictures before ordering.
Points; cs730a (echlin)
condenser; al868
cap; al162
rotor; al163
spark plugs; everyone has different ideas about what they like, I like autolite 85's
ballast resistor and coil; you are on your own for this, any normal combination that go together should be fine.
 
I don't have the proper numbers off hand. But one phone call to IH Parts America, who run this wonderful tech forum, will be more than happy to help you out in that request. They can even ship the parts out to ya, for a small fee.
