power steering question

I am shortly going to install a Scout II power steering gear on my Scout 800 frame. I notice in the various build threads that folks have tilted the gear a number of different ways. My question is this: is there a "correct" angle according to which the gear should be tilted. I am thinking, for example, that it should be tilted so that the pitman arm will swing in the same plane that the knuckle arms swing through when the wheels turn. Is this so? Does it make any difference? Thanks in advance. Pineneedle
