Hi to all,
I just registered here , thanks to this resource & Company!
I'm finally finishing the second half of this restoration// project which indeed feels great. 75 Scout II, 392, T-19, 44-44.
This truck has been sitting inside for the last 5 years, I swapped in a custom built 30 over 392 before the garage. Truck had low miles on it when purchased _ less than 50k. A blessing for an IH guy this is my third IH steed. Upon addressing steering among other things I went on plan and installed a new Borgeson steering joint. The install went well , had everything unbolted for fitting, the gear needed some rotation for the line up.. I noticed a drip or 2 after all was done . The next day it was a few oz. On the the frame. I'm confident the joint install did not produce damage; it went smooth. I have a 24oz bottle here of Lucas Steering Stop leak. Did my input seal dry up? Can stop leak remedy an issue like this or am I looking at a rebuild? This sucker was dry t'il touched.
Thanks for any insight!
