This Travelall has probably gone several decades without being polished maybe even that long without being washed. I wanted to make it look a little better. I removed all the trim, mirrors, door handles and locks, marker lights and badges.
It was then lightly wet sanded with 1500 and machine polished.
(I actually didn't remove the knee trim behind the rear wheels because I didn't want to take the interior panels off, but anyway.)
You can see the color difference after taking off the years of oxidation.
I think it is kind of interesting, that the whole thing started out as all white. I would presume that this was to save time in production because the trim, lights and emblems were then hastily masked to paint the green accent.
