Parking brake Calipers

Hey fellas.

I already have the calipers from a used axle just wondering if you could offer the details on the size (diameter/length) of tube you weld to the spring bracket for the park brake cable.

If you can't help, I understand.

Just another question in this Zaed or Jeff, do you guys cut off the small spring on the original parking brake cables and rely just on the caliper spring?

Looks like I need to extend the brake cables. I'm going to cut the brackets off the frame at the back, move the cable mounts rear ward and then add some cable with a Dorman cable repair kit.

(rear 14 bolt with eldo calipers) but moved about 3" back.

But still need to know if I have to cut those springs off.
