Hello guys, just an another dude with a rusty Scout looking for restoration information. I got a 1968 800A with the 196 in which I rebuilt and got running. Now its time for rust repair and painting. The unit has horrible panel rust in which will be patched and filled. Lots of patches and filler will be used on the lower quarter panel, fenders, front grill, etc
I plan on using the Case I.H. #2150 paint from my local Case I.H. tractor dealer.
I would like a matte red/ semi gloss red look. I wish to retain that "farm truck" look but with no rust and dents.
My question is: Which primer and/or hardener to use with the tractor dealer paint?
Has anyone had success with the Case I.H. #2150 paint? Does it turn orange in the sun?
