Hello 4 wheelers in the pacific nw (portland or seattle).
My pals and I were talking about old 4x4 shops which have come and gone (1970's-1980's). four wheel drive center is one name I came up with. I dont know when I visited that store last, but I know it was in the early 80's. I was just a kid then.
What other 4x4 stores and accessory shops can you think of. Places you'd go to get lift kits, wheels, off road lights.... Specialty stores that focused on 4x4 machines.
Does anyone have any photos of the shops they use to buy their 4x4 stuff from? I'd love to see some old photos of some of the shops. Todays stores seem to lack the personality and friendliness of the old stores.
Seems that most of them have been lost and forgotten.
