old gas, suck it through or drain it and flush the lines?

I just purchased my first international! Its a beautiful 73 1210 ranch truck with power nothing, really, not even a radio, but, that aside, the guy actually just put a brand new Holley on it, but the gas in the tank has been sitting since "I don't know when", it doesn't smell too bad, should I just fill it up on 91 octane and suck it through or should I drain it and put fresh in it?

Drain it and put fresh gas in it. This may require dropping the fuel tanks which will give you the opportunity to replace the fuel lines and sending units if needed.

On that note, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find an original tank and sending unit? The guy said that the original was so varnished when he got it, he just removed it, and there's a home made tank in the bed, I was kind of hoping to put the original back in with a selector switch and run two tanks
