Well ... I have a ih345, a nv4500 (hopefully a 95+:icon_domokun:) with the correct input shaft installed. The adaptor kit, a 11" clutch kit. Need to see if my flywhell from my ih266 fits and figure out how to put all that stuff together.

Anyone been thru this yet? Words of wisdom?

I'm guessing I'm removing that black thingy

And replacing it with this:

On the bearing retainer you have circled, you will need to pull it off and cut the "snout" off that the throw out bearing rode on. You will then bolt it back on your nv4500 and put the adapter plate over the top of it. The factory IH bearing retainer will bolt onto the adapter plate and you will be ready for the bellhousing/clutch linkage.
