No Brakes

Hey guys. The last time I hopped in the truck something funny happened. After I started descending my driveway, I couldn't stop descending. After a lot of furious brake pumping got me no where I had to ease the emergency brake down to come to a stop.

I'm thinking the most likely culprit is the master cylinder. I've looked as hard as I can, and there doesn't seem to be a fluid leak. I had considered the fact that it was the booster, but that would just mean that it would be really hard to stop the thing.

Any thoughts?

Could be the master cylinder. When the seals go bad in them they will either bypass internally or leak into the brake booster. Regardless a full brake inspection should be performed with emphasis on checking the brake wheel cylinders, calipers, and brake lines.
