Newbie Needs Help

Hey all.
So I've admired scouts for years but never had one. I just got in a pretty bad car wreck and my car got totaled so I'm looking for something new.

Basically, I'm wondering if it's possible to get a decent, daily driver Scout in any variant for around $5,000. I've been looking through the sales forum for something and haven't quit had anything catch my eye. I thought maybe I could get a few opinions to see if I'm wasting my time and maybe even some possible buys.

I don't mind doing work. As a matter of fact, as I get more funds I'd really like to do a full restoration. But the issue is that I need to start with something that can be a daily driver with no work needed.

Right now I live in ohio, but I'm looking at flying elsewhere to pick one up because I know how bad cars rust up here.
