I just bought a restored 1973 Scout II. However it does not have a hard top nor a soft top. I am looking to buy a soft top but can only find the 'tiger top' which seems to come only in black and I am told are not that good. Can anyone give me some places/products to check out? I live near boston, ma. Also I am considering putting in a roll bar as well - is there a specific roll bar I should buy? Thanks. I have already found the website superscoutspecialists.com

If you can actually find a tiger top in-stock for less than a grand buy it, no one has made soft tops for sii's for a couple of years.

As far as parts go everything you need is right here. Ihon the provider of this forum is a authorized Scout/lightline distributor and can get all the parts you need, if you need something you don't see on the website give them a call.

Give Jeff a call, they have built lots of different cages and roll bars, you just got to tell them what you want. If they can't help you out they will steer you in the right direction.

There are currently no availble soft tops. They usually make one "run" a year and Jeff buys as many as he can of that run. He has to twist their arm to get them to make that run as it is. He will post a sale add when the next batch is in. Of course the more people that commit to buying one the faster he can start twisting that arm.
